Born in beautiful East Tennessee and raised on the banks of the Tennessee River, I have loved boating since I was a young boy. My grandparents and parents were avid boaters and we were fortunate enough to live right on the water. Understanding the lifestyle of boating by living it has given me an edge in relating to my customers. It was only natural for me to find a way to make a living doing what I love.  I came to work for Sea Ray of Knoxville in the spring of 1998. The Marcum's gave me an opportunity to turn a job into a career.  I have made my self a valuable member of the SRK family by working hard to exceed my customer's expectations. We are the best full service dealership here in East Tennessee, and I am proud to be a part of that.

As a youth I spent all my weekends during the summer fishing and playing on beautiful Norris Lake. I started in the marine industry in 1989 as a service technician. In 1997 I became a member of the Sea Ray of Knoxville family. I started in the parts department and worked my way up to shop foreman and then to my current position as service manager. I am currently a Mercruiser certified technician and train along side our technicians so I can stay on top of the latest information and service procedures. I make your satisfaction my top priority and strive to make your boating experience a pleasant one.

I have owned several Sea Ray cruisers from Sea Ray of Knoxville over the years and have enjoyed working closely with them on various projects on my boats. When I retired from teaching in 2007 I decided to turn my years of boating knowledge and passion into a new career. I am currently working in the warranty department and lending my skills on custom installs and fabrication in the service shop. I will work hard to make sure you are satisfied with all your service or warranty needs.
